They obviously believe the franchise would benefit more on a Nintendo handheld. As a console port requiring very little resources, it's expected to see it make it's way on to both the ps3 and Wii U. This game has been exclusive to the 360 (and PC) for months now in Japan. I'm not sure where you get your news from, but there's absolutely no reason for Capcom to be disappointed. Japan breathes handheld gaming so it was expected. The Wii U version didn't sell as much, but Capcom were still pleased with the numbers it managed. Has this "deal" even been confirmed? I knew it as a rumor, but I'm not sure if it's ever been confirmed.Īnyway.Tri on the Wii was a definite success and Ultimate has sold great on the 3DS also. It's totally doable and would sell amazingly well imo if the graphics are crazy.
By now the in-game of Monster Hunter would be even beyond the CGI videos in the franchise.
All it needs to be brought up to the next level is graphics. Such a shame because it's one of the few games that gameplay wise, it's nearly PERFECT. There has been no evolution to the series, in fact it's DEvolving imo. The problem is Capcom's lack of vision for the franchise. Monster Hunter isn't the problem.because it's amazing. They have no confidence in it for some reason which I don't get. It's a shame Capcom is so ignorant of what Monster Hunter could be outside of Japan. meaning it would have more mass appeal outside of Japan, they surely aren't going to release the MMO version outside of Japan. If they didn't release the one that anyone could just buy and own at an affordable price. Why would it? There already is a Monster Hunter out in Japan for PS3.one that was already localized for every language so no extra monet had to be spent for that in Monster Hunter Portable HD. This is useless and pointless news outside of Japan because NO, this is not coming to America.
